Turning an 11 pound pork butt into pulled pork
Made some beef jerky today.
Used my dad’s recipe for the the marinade. It’s the flavor I grew up with.
1 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
Took about five hours in the pellet smoker.
This is the smoke rub I make at home. I’ve been using the same basic recipe for over 20 years.
Smoke Rub
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons red pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground celery seed
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
