As promised, here are the pictures of the weekend.
I picked up some Pop Rocks and mentioned to Zoe about the danger of mixing Pop Rocks & 7-Up
Zoe wanted to see what really happened. I did it first, and then she tried.
She mastered the blast of Pop Rocks and soda and continued to tempt fate with the rest of the package

The girls at the Circus
The clowns had a pie fight. My brother is jealous.
You don’t see elephants doing tricks every day. Amazing stuff.
For a historically accurate test, she needs to swallow 6 complete packs of pop-rocks, and then consume 6 full 12 ounce Coca-Colass.
I have no idea if 7-up provides enough C02 to produce the stomach explosion.
I advise against this attempt…despite the Snopes report, I have never seen “Mikey” again after the pop-rocks incident. I smell a cover-up.
A few years ago a bunch of us (all adults) went to the Ringling Bros. Circus. None of us had been to the circus in years, and we all quite excited. Then the show started, and we realized we were old. We were all horrified at how bad the cages looked for the animals, and how some tigers looked too skinny or the elephants had scars or whatever. The whole thing just seemed barbaric.
Yea it’s barbaric, unlike the wild where they could be starving to death, pursued by predators, or poached for their fur, claws, or tusks, or otherwise exploited.
