Now if only Michigan smacks USC around in the Rose Bowl, things will be even better.

It’d actually be more funny if USC destroyed Michigan. They’re ranked #1 in both polls right now, but aren’t in the BCS game. After the BCS the winner gets placed into the #1 slot on the polls. It’s MANDITORY. So USC at #1 would drop at least one spot by WINNING. How wild is that?
It’d be even better if they won big.

The thing that gets me is that no national champion should ever have a 35-7 thumping in their next-to-last game. Go ahead and say what you want about the Cal game but the fact is that it was close, on the road, and most important, early. Just like in other sports it does matter in college football when you lose.
After watching the Rose Bowl I’m sure that the Sooner fans are happy they aren’t playing SC. If K-State could put up 35 then just think what SC would have done.
What USC fans don’t get is that they are going to get the AP Championship, not the National Championship. The winner of the Sugar Bowl gets the national championship. Silly USC Trojans, championships are for GOOD teams!
