  1. I don’t think packing canned food would be a problem with any agency — it’s fruits and veggies, and things like salami that can get you in trouble. So the goetta might do you in.
    Is goetta related to porketta?

  2. Actually, it’s not porketta. The defining item in goetta is the oatmeal. There is steel cut oatmeal in the mix. IMHO, it’s what gives goetta it’s unique texture and mouth feel. The pork & spices add the flavor.
