The Question

The question is:
Brush then floss or floss then brush?
Personally, I’m a floss then brush person. All you brush then floss people are crazy.

  1. Definitely floss then brush. Flossing loosens up all the s#!+ that’s trapped in the crevasses between and around your teeth. Then you can brush it all away. Your gums will say thank you, too.

  2. Floss then brush, of course! Isn’t it obvious? That’s like asking if the toilet paper should come over the top of the roll or from the bottom! Sheesh!

  3. I’ve been told by reputable sources that you should brush your teeth twice – first with a dry toothbrush, then the normal toothpasty way.
    Who flosses?

  4. this is like asking what came first the chicken or the egg. Martin Lawrence knows how to floss. you have to act like you are the mirror in the bathroom.

  5. Who is the ultimate arbiter of the floss/brush rule? We have to establish the authority here.
Our teeth may feel clean but how can we be really sure unless we know who’s making these rules?

  6. Brush & get most of the crud out. Floss & get minimal crud out; then rinse mouse out with water or mouthwash w/antiseptic in it.
