Fame is fleeting

I posted to this weblog when I was at the last SoCal Wireless User Group meeting. My play by play updates generated little interest or comments. While I was there, I talked to a reporter there about my cantenna and he wrote up a brief story for the LA Times.
No wires to get syrup on
Here’s the scanned story:

The reporter added 10 years to my age, I’m only 35!
Michele was quite impressed with my fame. For about five minutes… They she demanded I fix the ‘drip drip sound’ in the toilet. Five minutes from wireless technology god to plumber.

  1. I told him I worked for Disney. After saying that and watching him writing it down I thought better and asked him not mention Disney.
The quote is a snippet of about five minutes of chatting.

  2. The comment, “Suck my kalunk!” was not posted by me or anyone having anything to do with http://geocities.com/twagarp. We apologize for any inference that we might even have a kalunk, know what a kalunk is, nor would we wish it sucked, and also for any confusion this might have caused you and your visitors. Otherwise, we were probably drunk and just didn’t know what we were doing. Sorry. Dammit!
