  1. Hey, Braaaad! Could you put in an order for a couple of 8-core Mac Pros? Looks like we’re gonna need ’em.

  2. The 8-cores are overkill for all but a very few specific applications. I haven’t come close to taxing my quad.
    I guess HD video work would do it.
