It’s a video game kinda thing… The object is to sit around, try on different clothes and chat.
Just like real life.
I’m glad Bill clarified that. I had no clue what it was.
2nd life is basically an MMO that is supposed to emulate the real world rather than a fantasy/sci-fi genre. I personally haven’t installed or played it and from what I’ve seen of screenshots, the graphics are pretty previous gen when compared with WoW, etc.

Didn’t “The Sims” already come out like eight years ago?
Second Life is a full 3D MMO with abosultly no imposed goals, where all the game’s content is user created. Personally, I administrate a group of “wizards” who carry magic staffs i have programmed using LSL, the games scripting language.
Second life is totally taking over my household the parentals are totally involved, you can walk in and say hello with no response. They dont even eat at the dinner table anymore and the house is a mess no one cares about anything anymore except that STUPID GAME!!!
