Falling apart

All the sudden, a few days after my vacation finishes up and I go back to work, my body is revolting against me. I’ve got a cold, my right eye feels like someone is stabbing an icepick into it, and my right elbow hurts from spending too much time at the computer at work.
I’ve been trying to eat well, get some sleep, and stay off the computer at home, all to no avail. I feel like going home taking two vicodin, drinking a beer and sleeping for two days.
In other news, MartinMartin has got his weblog groove on.
Some have asked (ok, one person asked) how the blogrolling thing was working. For a limited time, you can take a look at my blog test page. As the weblogs get updated, they pop to the top of the list and get a (new) flag next to them. Weblogs that don’t get updated drop to the bottom of the list…
Make sense? OK, gotta go back to work.

  1. I still don’t get what Blogrolling is supposed to do for me. Is it anything like TiVo? Or an electric razor? Or a CD jewel case openner? Those innovations have made my life easier. I don’t see how my life gets improved with blogrolling.

  2. Alright, here’s how it helps.
There’s probably a list of weblogs you regular read. THe trouble is you don’t know when they get updated. Some people update every day others update once a month.
With blogrolling, you select all the weblogs you want to follow and then your list is dynamicly updated as new entries are posted. You can see that the sites have been updated.
Otherwise, you end up clicking links to weblogs just to check if they are updated.
    Does that make it clearer?

  3. That is totally NOT the way they explain it on the blogrolling website. What you’re describing here actually does sound useful. I never should have doubted.
