Coke Zero

I have been wondering how the new Coke Zero soda is different than Diet Coke.
I couldn’t tell from looking at the cans, so I decided to call Coke and ask.

    Why didn’t you inform him that “this call may be recorded for quality control or internet mockery purposes”?

  5. I know that the Zero/One thing was a joke, but sadly it really isn’t. Xbox 360 is not called Xbox 2 because they are concerned that people will think that Playstation 3 is better because 3 is “better” than 2. So CLEARLY, Pepsi One is better than Coke Zero. Clearly.

  8. Artificially sweetened soft drinks make you smarter. Particularly when mixed with liberal amounts of grain alcohol.

  11. Well at least the call center wasn’t outsourced, and you only had to answer one question, your zip code, (which probably didn’t match your phone number.)
    I also think you sound like my mind’s image of what you would sound like from my casual reading of your blog.
    I also liked the super fast/slow dialing, which sounds like it was done on an Avaya phone.
    All in all, I got a good laugh, so I’d say it was one of your better posts.

  12. I couldn’t tell what it tasted like until my wife tried it and said it tastes like Tab which was the Diet Coke of the 60’s and 70’s

  15. Thanks for posting that. I was sitting here drinking a Coke Zero totally wondering what the difference was and thinking of calling up Coke, since I couldn’t find the answer on their website. My co-worker and I enjoyed listening to your call.
