Stok Black Coffee Shots

Michele and I were at the 7-Eleven on Friday getting coffee, when we saw this.


Sitting with the various creamers were two large boxes of Stok coffee shots. Upon further inspection, the Stok shots are simply caffeine shots. The silver one is sweetened and the gold one is just caffeine. There’s no dairy in it, so it’s likely a purely chemical concoction and even good for vegans…
At 40 milligrams of caffeine per shot, that’s a heavy duty boost. It’s half of the caffeine you get in a can of Red Bull.

I popped one of the sweet ones into my coffee and headed off to work. I didn’t notice anything spectacular, but it’s a pretty cool idea.
The note on the package of “limit 2/day” is just begging to be tested by someone.
According to the fine people at Energy Fiend, it would take around 300 Stok coffee shots to kill a 175 lb. person. Putting that in to realistic terms, that would mean drinking a gallon of Stok.
So get yourself to 7-Eleven and Stok up! (ha-ha-ha-ha)

  3. According to their calculations it would take 24g of pure caffeine to kill me. That’s roughly 46 gallons of Diet Mountain Dew…
    It’s good to have goals.

  4. I put 2 of these in my coffee every morning and they do the trick very nicely. A co-worker of mine did test the 2 a day limit. He uses 4 every morning and so far so good, LOL. Then again he does that about twice a day and then has at least two energy drinks.

  5. Dude I’m drinkin that stuff right now. You gotta get the Energy Coffee you can get there too and then add the shots. Dude, you start shakin and sweatin and you can’t write. It’s wonderful. And they’re free! I love it.

  7. I LOVE THIS STUFF IT GIVES ME SO MUCH ENERGY I TELL MY CO WORKERS THAT IT IS BETTER THAN RED BULL NOW I HAVE OTHER CO WORKER THAT WANTS ME TO BRING HER SOME WHEN I GET MY COFFEE IN THE MORNING I HAVE ONLY FOUND IT AT ONE SEVEN ELEVEN BY MY JOB. WHERE CAN I ORDER IT

  9. I love this stuff! I wasn’t sure what it was at first, but after trying it on a very busy day at work, it did the trick! love it!!! I would love to order a box or two since only one 7-11 by me carries it. Anybody know where?

  14. I tried these about a week ago and they are great. No making you feel weird or tweaked out of your head. Just energy and no bad coming down feeling. Im trying to get my local Mom and Pop store to get them in. I want a case of them too.

  15. I would like order information please. I LOVE the kick I am able to add, plus extra flavor, to my morning coffee. I will be travling in July the shot size will be perfect to add to my purse on vacation. We aren’t able to get the shots anywhere around here lately, I MISS THEM.   16. Ive way more than tested that limit I put 8 unsweet over ice and add about 3 tablespoons of half&half every morning on my way to work!!
