Something I learned in 2009 - wet wipes clog pipes; don't flush 'em...

Could you explain, "Twitter and Facebook put a damper on blogging"?

Don't get me wrong I completely agree but I haven't been able to pinpoint why; time distractions, degrading writing quality, information overload, all of the above, something else...

Regarding the #5 thing you learned in 2009, I think you could do even better. After all, why add a wipe to the burden of sewerage treatment plants and its carbon to the atmosphere? In many Asian cultures, washing with water after using the toilet has been a sanitary, economical, and environmentally safe practice. Using a small cup of water judiciously applied, it is easy to avoid making a mess and the benefits are beyond those of the wet wipes.
